I have taken a short break from posting diys and I pretty much allowed myself to enjoy the holidays but I did do some diys, except I was not able to put it up online until now. So, let me share with you one super simple and quick felt Christmas tree craft décor that you can display on your mantle or table.
I made these trees with felt but you can absolutely replace it with card stock or any kind of paper that you prefer. I know it may be a bit late at this time to have posted this but we still have a few days to go to enjoy the holiday with some crafting.
Green felt ( the stiff one)
First, trace a Christmas tree shape onto the green felt. I used a stiff one that the dollar store sells. There’s that floppy one and there is a stiffened one.
Cut out two pieces of the tree shape.
Get a yellow felt and cut out a star shape.
Use a glue gun to attach the felt star to the tip of the tree.
Then fold the tree at the center lengthwise. With felt, you can reinforce the fold by running your nail with a heavier pressure on the fold line.
Follow the fold line and apply glue gun on the whole length then attach the second tree cut out.
Felt Christmas Tree
Well, what did I say? Super simple and quick, right! You can make several pieces of these felt Christmas trees and add on other bright ornaments and you have a pretty holiday décor.
You can totally rock this!
